When does the festival start and end?

Festival Grounds open at 5:00PM on Friday evening 11:00AM both Saturday and Sunday with music on Friday from 7:30PM to 10:15PM, and from noon to 10PM on Saturday and noon to 8:30PM on Sunday.

Where is the Parking?

Festival Parking is at Kent Green, 41 Kent Green Boulevard, Kent CT 06757. The lot is near the Town Hall, and air conditioned coach buses will pick you up, make a quick stop in town if you'd like to explore, and then stop at the Festival's main entrance. Friday night Friends Gala parking will be at the Village Barn Shops and across the street at the Kent Fire Station. The coach buses will pick you up at the Gala, take you to the Festival and back to your car later in the evening.

Is there a parking fee?

No. Parking is free.

Are there food vendors?

You are welcome to bring a picnic or try our fantastic and reasonably priced food, Magic Hat beer and premium wines.  See food vendors

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Sorry, no beer, wine, alcoholic beverages or glass can be brought onto the grounds. Coolers will be inspected at the gate.

Can I bring a cooler?

You are welcome to have a cooler on the lawn. Sorry, no coolers are allowed in the Springs Center by order of the fire marshal.

Can I bring the whole family?

Of course!  Children under 12 years old are welcome and are free on the lawn when accompanied by a parent.

Can I bring a pet?

Sorry, no pets.

Are there chairs in the Springs Center?

Springs Center tickets provide you a chair inside the Springs Center. Seating is by general admission by section (Tier 1, 2 and 3), unless you have purchased a Friends of the Festival ticket or a Best Friends package for the weekend which entitles you to seating in a reserved, up-front section. If I buy a lawn ticket, can I bring a lawn chair?

Lawn ticket buyers are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to make themselves comfortable on the grass.  Tents are only permitted along the periphery of the lawn.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas.

Can I take pictures?

Photography, recording, and videotaping are not permitted in the Springs Center.

Will the festival take place in the rain?

The Litchfield Jazz Festival is an ALL WEATHER EVENT.

Can I get a refund?

All ticket sales are final, and refunds and exchanges cannot be made.
