When does the festival start and end?

Festival Grounds open at 5:00PM on Friday evening 11:00AM both Saturday and Sunday with music on Friday from 7:30PM to 10:15PM, and from noon to 10PM on Saturday and noon to 8:30PM on Sunday.

Where is the Parking?

Festival Parking is at The Kent Land Trust Field located just south of the Town of Kent on Rte. 7. The lot is on the opposite side of the street from Kent Greenhouse & Gardens. There will be ample parking, and air-conditioned coach buses will pick you up, make a quick stop in town if you'd like to explore, and then stop at the Festival's main entrance. They will circle like this throughout the weekend. Special thanks to Kelley Transit for the buses and to The Kent Land Trust for the parking area.

Friday night Friends Gala parking will be at The Kent Land Trust Field. Priority Parking spaces will be provided. The coach buses will pick you up and take you to the Gala on the Festival grounds and take you back to your car later in the evening.

Handicap parking will be located at 1 Macedonia Road, Kent, CT directly across the street from the Festival grounds. Festival signage will direct you to this lot.

Is there a parking fee?

No. Parking is free.

Are there food vendors?

You are welcome to bring a picnic or try our fantastic and reasonably priced food, Magic Hat beer and premium wines.  See 2011 food vendors.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Sorry, no beer, wine, alcoholic beverages or glass can be brought onto the grounds. Coolers will be inspected at the gate.

Can I bring a cooler?

You are welcome to have a cooler on the lawn. Sorry, no coolers are allowed in the Springs Center by order of the fire marshal.

Can I bring the whole family?

Of course!  Children under 12 years old are welcome and are free on the lawn when accompanied by a parent.

Can I bring a pet?

Sorry, no pets are allowed on the grounds of the Festival with the exception of service animals. Service animals include guide dogs, signal dogs, or other animals individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.

Are there chairs in the Springs Center?

Springs Center Friends and Best Friends packages for the weekend entitle you to seating in a reserved, up-front section. Seating in sections 1, 2, & 3 is reserved. The Springs Center is a temperature controlled facility.

If I buy a lawn ticket, can I bring a lawn chair?

Lawn ticket buyers are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to make themselves comfortable on the grass.  Tents are only permitted along the periphery of the lawn.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas.

Can I take pictures?

Photography, recording, and videotaping are not permitted in the Springs Center.

Will the festival take place in the rain?

The Litchfield Jazz Festival is an ALL WEATHER EVENT.

Can I get a refund?

All ticket sales are final, and refunds and exchanges cannot be made.
