Please join us to help our young people continue America’s true art form -- jazz.  Your participation will support the future of live jazz by helping the ground breaking Litchfield Jazz Camp continue to build a scholarship fund for students in financial need.

To kick off the celebration of the 16th Anniversary of the Litchfield Jazz Festival in Kent we’re returning to our old tradition and hosting our Friends Gala under a tent on the beautiful grounds of Kent School.

Enjoy a Taste of Kent’s best caterers, private French Wine stock courtesy of Vandoren Vineyards, Microbrews by Magic Hat, performances by top Litchfield Jazz Campers and be up front for the evening’s concerts. Dress as fabulously as you like.  It’s a party! 

VIP parking, up-front seating, and access to the VIP Lounge is included in your Friends ticket.

“Friends Gala” Sponsors include Vandoren Vineyards, Magic Hat Brewing Company, and Kent area restaurants.  Friday night Friends Gala parking will be a reserved section in front at the Kent Land Trust on Route 7.  Coach buses will pick you up after you've parked, take you to the Festival and back to your car later in the evening.

Proceeds support Jazz Camp scholarships.

Litchfield Performing Arts, the non-profit that runs the Festival and Camp, is dedicated to the arts and arts education.  The Litchfield Jazz Festival’s educational arm, Litchfield Jazz Camp, has been awarding need-based scholarships to students in financial need since its inaugural year in 1997. In past summers we have been able to award up to $100,000 in scholarships! Becoming a “Friend” or “Best Friend” of the festival will help us ensure we never have to turn away a child in need.
