Litchfield Jazz Festival and Kent Lions Club present an “An Afternoon of Classics & Jazz,” celebrating the music of Duke Ellington and Cole Porter. Held at Kent School’s Mattison Auditorium on Saturday, February 6th from 4-6 PM, it features pianist Dolph Traymon, and professionals and outstanding young talents from Litchfield Jazz Camp. Proceeds will benefit the Kent Lions charitable giving and support scholarships for Kent area students to attend Litchfield Jazz Camp this summer. More »

Vita Muir has been the driving force behind the jazz festival that has been held for the past thirteen years in the historic town of Litchfield, Connecticut - birthplace of Ethan Allen (of more than furniture fame), residence of Harriet Beecher Stowe and others.
